International Women's Day celebrated at Agricultural College, Polasa, Jagtial on 08-03-2021

NSS unit, Agricultural College, Polasa , Jagtial organized International Womens Day was at Agricultural College, Jagtial on 8.3.2020, Dr.S.Narender Reddy, Associate Dean, Inaugurated the Programme and emphasized on Importance of Women in various fields, especially in Agriculture, Women Empowerment and Gender Equality. Later staff and students participated in live session on “Woman leadership in Agriculture: Enterpreneurship, Equity and Empowerment” organized by ICAR, New Delhi. On the occasion of International Women’s Day essay writing competition was organized in the College on the topic “Inspirational Women Leader”. For essay writing competition G. Amulya, N. Sathwika, Reshma and S. Abhishek received appreciation certificate from the Kopulla Eshwar, Honourable Minister of Social Welfare and G. Ravi, District Collector, Jagtial. In this celebrations Dr. O. Sampath, OiSA, Dr. R. Sai Kumar, NSS PO, A. Uma Rajashekhar, NSS PO, Dr. D. Karthik, Dr. M. Uma Devi, Senior Professor, Dr. K. B. Suneetha Devi, Senior Professor and other teaching, non-teaching staff and students participated.
