International Women’s Day Celebrations at Agricultural Polytechnic, Kampasagar on 08.03.2022

International Women’s Day was celebrated at Agricultural Polytechnic, Kampasagar on 08.03.2022. Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi, Principal, Mrs. G. Swathi, Assistant Professor (Horti), Dr. N. Lingaiah, Sr. Scientist (Pl. Br.) and Head, ARS, Kampasagar, Dr. V. Sridhar, Scientist (Pl. Br.), Dr. M. Shankarayya, Programme Co-ordinator, KVK, Kampasagar, Mrs. T. Himabindu, SMS (Horti.), Mrs. S. Pallavi, SMS (Extension), Mr. V. Narsing Rao, Superintendent, Mr. M. Parusharamulu, Sr, Assistant, Mrs. Varalaxmi, Sr, Assistant and Diploma I and II year students and contract labour have participated in the Programme. Various cultural events were conducted to diploma I and II year girl students at APT, Kampasagar and prize distribution was done. Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi said that International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8 every year and dedicated to honor the achievements of women across the globe and raise awareness against gender equality and women's rights and this celebration is a sign of appreciation, respect, love and care towards women in our lives and in society.
