KVK, PALEM – International Women’s Day Celebrations at Gummakonda and Nallavelli villages on 08.03.2022

Krishi Vigyan Kendra Palem Celebrated International Women’s Day at Gummakonda village of Thimajipet mandal and Nallavelli village of Nagarkurnool mandal on 08.03.2022. Dr. Afifa Jahan (SMS-H.Sc.) inaugurated the exhibition of exhibits on women's right and health care for women. The school students played skits showing the importance of women in society and also conducted training program on importance of balanced diet. Felicitated four women workers, Smt.Kalavati (ASHA Worker), Smt. Ghousiya Begum (ANM), Smt.Swathi (Teacher) and Smt. Purnima (Govt school head master). The RAWE students performed cultural events. The games like musical chairs and debate were conducted and the awardee are rewarded from KVK, Palem. Total 62 members were participated in all the programmes. Dr. Afifa Jahan explained about importance of women and their rights. She emphasis on #BreaktheBias2022 theme.
