Distribution of Kadaknath chicks to Beneficiaries of Tribal Farmers Under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) at KVK, Kampasagar on 03-02-2021

Kadaknath chicks (1 month age old) as Poultry as micro enterprise (1200 No.) were distributed to beneficiaries of Tribal men and women farmers of Satyampaduthanda of adopted Tribal Village in Nalgonda District by Dr. M. Shankaraiah, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) on 03.02.2021. The purpose of giving Kadaknath is to promote the Integrated Farming System to get additional income and overall sustainability through meat and egg production. Dr. M. Goverdhan, ARS, Head explained about integrated farming importance and different models of IFS. 16 Kadaknath chicks are distributed to 1 Farmer as unit in each Tribal village. Dr.T.Bharath, SMS (Crop Production) and TSP incharge present on the occasion and created awareness on feed and disease management for chicks.
