DAATTC, Karimnagar organised Sensitization program on “ICT tools, portals and use of mobile apps in agriculture among rural youth” on 23-12-2020 at Rajanna Sircilla District

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Rudrur organized Kisan Diwas and Swachhta Pakhwada on 23.12.2020 at Jakhora village with an address on the ideologies of late Sri. Chowdary Charan Singh, then The Prime Minister of India who strived for the development of agriculture sector in the country. On this occasion KVK, Rudrur organized training and group discussion with an emphasis on role of farmers in Indian agriculture and contribution to the nation’s economy and also group discussion was held on management practices in present crops with the farmers. Dr. M. Suresh, SMS, Crop Production explained about the rice nursery management, mechanized transplantation and fertilizer management in rice crop. Dr. B. Venkata Rajkumar, SMS, Horticulture explained about the horticulture crops and kitchen gardening which plays a major role in self sufficiency in balanced and nutrient diet. Dr. M. Swetha, SMS, Extension explained about the organic waste management in agriculture as part of the Swachhta Pakhwada activities. Later the farmers shared their experiences in mechanized transplanting of rice and also registration of farmers under Hon’ble Prime Minister’s address and interaction on PM Kisan samman Nidhi. Fifteen farmers and three farm women participated in training programme and group discussionn.
