KVK, Palem, DAATTC, Palem & DAATTC, Tandur organized Scientific Advisory Committee and District level Coordination Committee Meeting held on 10th February, 2023 (Friday) at RARS, Palem, Nagarkurnool dist.Dr. Goverdhan, ADR, RARS, Palem, instructed to all the scientists work done should present scientifically with reliable data and frame the technical programme based on the real farming problems faced by the farmers. Dr. N. Praveen, Professor, Coordinator of DAATTC, Tandur, Director of extension Nominee addressed that the technical programmes of SMSs / of KVKs and DAATTCs are to be formulated based on the problems of the farmers for which feasible solutions need to be provided through the Front-Line Extension System of our esteemed University. The KVK & DAATTC scientist need to have thorough knowledge on the process and methodology of formulating technical programmes i.e. OFT/FLD/Document Success stories, training programmes etc. Sri. Venkateshwarlu, District Agril. Officer, Nagarkurnool dist briefed about the area sown particulars of the district and raised the problems in yield reduction in Field crops, Farm mechanization importance in various crops etc. Sri. Ramesh, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry briefed about various developmental activities of animal husbandry sectors and subsidy activities. Sri. Laxmappa, district fisheries officer explained on various fish developmental activities in the dist. Sri. Venkatesam, DAO, Mahaboobnagar, Division, briefed about the area sown particulars of the district and explained about importance of crop diversification and soil testing usages to the farmers. KVK, Palem PC & DAATTCs, coordinator and all the scientists were presented work done of 2022-23 year and action plan for the year 2023-2024. In this programme Dr. Govardhan, ADR, RARS, Palem, Dr. N.
