Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli, Mancherial Got Four Awards on Republic Day Celebrations-2023

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli working from last 5 years for the holistic development of farming community in Mancherial and K.B. Asifabad district. Krishi Vigyan Kendra became a integral part of the farming community as a farm science cenre through conducted number of training programmes, awareness programmes keeping in view of doubling the farmers income. Keeping in view of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli efforts in technology backstopping and distributed high yielding quality seeds like; Paddy, Jowar, Sesame, Greengram, Redgram, Bengalgram. In addition to this, KVK, Bellampalli created physical assets includes distribution of Tarpaulins, Battery Sprayers, water saving structures like; Sprinklers and also distributed goat, sheep, poultry to provide substantiate income. District Collector and Magistrate K.B Asifabad appreciated and felicitated Dr. Rajeshwar Naik, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Bellampalli and Dr. Shiva Krishna Kota, SMS (Extension) with the awards. On the eve of Republic Day celebration -2023, four scientists got the appreciation and awards from P.O. ITDA Utnoor and District Collector and Magistrate K.B Asifabad. The Contribution and efforts of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli for dissemination of innovative technologies to the farming community through On Farm Trails, Front Line Demonstrations, Cluster Front Line Demonstrations, Tribal Sub Plan, SC Sub Plan, Capacity building programmes and other activities were recognised and appreciated by Varun Reddy, I.A.S., P.O. ITDA Utnoor. In this occasion 3 SMS's Dr. Shiva Krishna Kota, SMS (Extension), Sri. A. Nagaraju, SMS (Plant Protection), I. Thirupati, SMS (Crop Production) got the appreciation and award from the P.O. ITDA Utnoor.
