KVK, Bellampalli conducted awareness programme on Natural Farming in collaboration with Hazipur FPC at Old Mancherial, Mancherial Mandal, Mancherial Dist. on 02-11-2024. In this Programme, Dr. Shivakriahna Kota, Programme Coordinator, addressed the farmers on importance of natural/organic farming, marketing, certification of the products and activities carried out by KVK, Bellampalli for promotion/encourage the farmers towards the natural farming. Sri. Gone Shyam Sunder Rao, Ex- Board Member of NAARM and director of FPC Hazipur explained about the activities of FPC and marketing opportunities through FPOs for organic products. Dr. I. Thirupathi, SMS (Crop Production) explained about the components of natural farming and preparation of inputs for natural farming, nutrient management practices for natural farming. Sri. A. Nagaraju, SMS (Plant Protection) explained about the integrated pest management practices in natural farming. Later, some of the farmers who are practicing the natural farming shared their experiences and practices and constraints in natural farming. In this programme, 44 No. of farmers were participated.
