KVK, Bellampalli, Mancherial - Framers got four best farmer awards on Radio Diwa’s Celebrations-2023 on 15-02-2023

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli working from last 5 years for the moto of doubling the farmers income by improvement in their agricultural activities, management practices and perception about farming leads to holistic development of agriculture community in Mancherial and K.B. Asifabad district. Krishi Vigyan Kendra became a knowledge hub for the farming community through conducting several capacity building programmes and different scientific and technical activities done in last few years. On the eve of Radio Diaw’s celebration -2023 held on 15.02.2023, at AIR, Adilabad, KVK, Bellampalli recommended four farmers from the Mancherial and K.B. Asifabad districts for best farmer award of All India Radio Station based on their advanced and sustainable methods of agriculture practices and contribution towards local farming community. In this occasion Smt. Suguna (Nagasamudram, Dandepalli), Dadi Pentaiah (Sandralphad, Kasipet) from Mancherial district and Smt. Budda. Lavanya (Perkapalli, Tiryani), Sri. Naitham. Raghu (Laksmipoor, Tiryani) from K.B. Asifabad got the best farmers award and appreciation certificate from Hon’ble District Collector Sri. Rahul Raj, Adilabad District. Further, Dr. Rajeshwar Naik, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Bellampalli expressed his greetings to the awardees and also suggested the farming community of both the districts to utilise the services of Krishi Vigyan Kendra efficiently to increase their income in agriculture allied sectors which improves socio economical condition of the farming community.
