KVK, Bellampalli conducted a training program on Integrated Pest and Disease Management in HDPS & CS Cotton under Special Project on cotton at Krishi vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli of Mancherial Dist. on 04.11.2024. In this Programme, Dr. Shivakriahna Kota, Programme Coordinator, addressed the farmers about the status of HDPS & CS cotton in the district, cultivation Practices and canopy management in HDPS Cotton. Later, Dr. I. Thirupathi, SMS (Crop Production), has explained the importance and advantage of cultivation of HDPS cotton, nutrient management and canopy management in HDPS cotton. Sri. A. Nagaraju, SMS (Plant Protection) has explained about the Integrated pest and disease management in cotton and also about the control measures of Pink Bollworm. In this programme, Dr. Shivakrishna Kota, Programme Coordinator, Dr. I. Thirupathi, SMS (Crop Production), Sri. A. Nagaraju, SMS (Plant Protection), Dr. E. Priyanka, YP-ll, Ms. D. Shailaja, YP-l, Sri. S. Anil, YP-I and 98 No. of farmers were participated.
