KVK, Bellampalli, Mancherial Conducted Training programme on Integrated Nutrient and Weed Management in Redgram on 25-08-2023

KVK, Bellampalli organized training programme on Integrated Nutrient and Weed Management in Redgram crop under TSP at KVK, Belampalli, Mancherial district on 25.08.2023. In this programme Dr. M. Rajeshwar Naik, Programme Coordinator, addressed the farmers on nutrient management in Redgram and micronutrients deficiency symptoms and it's management . Also informed the about weather based agro advisories on major crops like Cotton, Rice and Redgram. Further, he encouraged the Tribal youth to lead the community into new agricultural practices instead of age old practices and management systems. Later, Dr. I. Thirupathi, SMS (Crop Production) explained the farmers on weed management practices in Redgram, importance of pre flowering irrigation and foliar application of nutrients to reduce the flower dropping in Redgram.
