Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar was organised A Exposure Visit to Centre of Excellence (Vegetable and Flowers) Jeedimetla, Hyderabad under ARYA project 2023-24 on 01.02.2024. The programme was attended by Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection), Kumari Sai Priya (Young professional 1) and 30 no.of young farmers from Kishtapuram, Ailapuram villages of Miryalaguda mandal, Neelaigudem of Thripuraram mandal and Guntipally, Annaram villages of Nidmanoor mandal, Nalgonda district. The Farmers were visited different demonstration models and acquired knowledge on Vertical farming, hydroponic farming, Terrace gardening, vertical pandal system, Horizontal pandal system, vegetable nursery rising under protected cultivation, movable tunnels system, raising of orchids etc. later, proceeded to visit KISAN Agrishow-2024, the largest agricultural exhibition in Telangana Exhibition at Hitex center, Hyderabad. Farmers visited stalls and gained knowledge on new technologies, agricultural machinery and different plat protection methods, Seeds, small scale farming equipment available in market etc.
