KVK, Kampasagar – Seed Distribution to farmers under SCSP on 11-11-2024

Paddy seed of JGL 24423 was distributed to SC farmers under SCSP-2024-24 on 11.11.2024 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar. Dr. S. Srinivasa Rao, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar explained briefly about the variety i.e., sowing/transplanting time, weed management, Dr. K. Chandra Shaker, SMS (Crop Production) about fertilizer management and cold management in nursery as well as in main field, Smt A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) explained about pest and disease management in paddy, Smt S. Pallavi, SMS (Extension) explained about activities and training programmes to be organized by KVK to the attended farmers. Later the seed of JGL 24423 was distributed the farmers of Pittalagudem (Vi), Gurrampodu (Mdl) farmers. Farmers has also visited the KVK instructional farm.
