KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted Awareness programme on “Agriculture Farm Bills, 2020” for Extension functionaries at APMC market yard, Laxmidevipally, Bhadradri Kothagudem on 10-12-2020. Sri K. Abhimanyudu, DAO, along with ADAs, MAOs and AEOs of Bhadradri Kothagudem has participated in the programme. Dr. G.Veeranna, Programme coordinator has inaugurated the programme and explained about the importance of creating awareness on recent agricultural reforms to farming community through grass root extension functionaries. Dr. R. Vishwatej, SMS (Extension), has explained in detail about the three farm bills passed in the parliament and the context and the important points present in the bills as well as scope of increase in investments in agricultural sector for value chain infrastructure development. Later, he also clarified the myths and doubts raised by the farming community. A total of 81 participants attended the training programme.
