KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted awareness programme on Integrated Farming System at Jaganthapuram Village, Palvoncha Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 23.11.2023

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted an awareness programme on Integrated Farming System in collaboration with DRDA, at Jaganthapuram Village, Palvoncha Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 23.11.2023. In this programme Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme Coordinator has explained about importance of integrated farming systems approach when compared with agriculture as solo activity later she direct SHG Self Help Group farmer members about their self-employment opportunity and plant protection majors to be taken while spraying chemicals in fields. In this programme Dr. S. Naveen Kumar, SMS (Extension) elaborated the benefits of IFS system and its income generating activities, further he explained about Kisan Sarathi and its utility to farming community at this present digital communication platform. Shri. Dr. Venkaiah, (JDM), DRDA, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Shri. Rajaratanam, Nodal Officer DRDA, Palvoncha Mandal. In this programme a total 45 number farmers and farmwomen were participated.
