KVK, BKDM has conducted an awareness programme on Natural Farming at Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 24.01.2024.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted awareness programme on Natural Farming at Penuballi Village, Chunchupally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 24.01.2024. In this programme Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme Coordinator addressed the gathering on natural farming the system works along with the natural biodiversity of the farming area which encourages the complexity of living organisms with both plants and animals that shapes the ecosystem to thrive along with food plants. Dr. S. Naveen Kumar, SMS (Extension) explained different packages of practices and its importance to the environment and climate. Programme incharge Dr. R. Srinivasa Rao, SMS (Crop Production) addressed farming community on different package of practices to be followed under natural farming like preparation of Jeevamrutham, ghanajeevamrutham, Panchagavya etc. In this training programme Mr. B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture), B. Rajeswari (A.O), Mamatha (AEO), Mr. Srinivas Reddy, (Sarpanch), Mr. E. Sudhakar, and Progressive farmers and farmwomen a total of 70 numbers were participated and interacted with scientists.
