Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted a diagnostic visit in Chilli on 18-10-2021
KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted the diagnostic field visit in chilli crop on 18.10.2021 of Sri G. Murali Krishna R/o Gomaplly, Sri T. Subbarao R/o Gomaplly and K. Satyanarayana R/o Subbampeta Cherla mandal, Bhadrachalam Divison of Bhadradri Kothagudem. In this programme Dr. R. Srinivasa Rao, Senior Scientist (Crop Production), B.Shiva, Scientist, Horticulture, Sri. G. Lalchand ADA (Technical), Sri B. Sudhakar Rao, ADA (Regular), Sri P. Shivarama Prasad MAO Cherla and the farmers of concerned village participated. The diagnostic team was noticed severe incidence of bacterial leaf spot (nearly 70%) in early transplanting fields (about 45 days aged old plants) and also observed root rot incidence (about 50%) in VNR 788 hybrid only under mulching condition and advised the recommendation.
