Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadadri Kothagudem has conducted a Field day in Trellis method of tomato cultivation under tribal sub plan (TSP) at Nimmalagudem village, Chunchupally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 04.03.2022. In this programme Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme Coordinator, spoke about the benefits of Trellis method in tomato and explained in details about the process of Trellis method cultivation. She has also discussed about the pest and disease management in summer season growing crops. Mr. B. Shiva (SMS, Horticulture) explained about the livelihood opportunities for farmers and farmwomen by using Trellis method in horticulture crops. In this programme local representatives and 50 farmers have participated.
