KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem has organized an Awareness programme on Plastic waste management and cleanliness drive at Seethampeta banajara Village of Sujathanagar Mandal on 19.12.2020 as part of Swachhata Pakwada. Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme Coordinator has explained the farmers about the harmful effects of plastic pollution on earth and the need to recycle the plastic waste. Dr. R. Vishwatej explained about the segregation of dry and wet waste at household levels. Later, all the scientists along with sarpanch and farmers has taken up a cleanliness drive at the panchayat office, community centre and village temple premises.
