KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted training programme on “Preparation of spray fluids and different types of sprayers used in plant protection” at Laxmidevipally village on 02-09-2021

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted training programme on “Preparation of spray fluids and different types of sprayers used in plant protection” on 02.09.2021 at Laxmidevipally village, Sujathanagar Mandal. Dr. V. Lakshmi narayanamma, Programme coordinator inaugurated the programme and explained about the IPM practices to be taken in major kharif crops. She also explained in detail about the different spray equipments available for farmers and demonstrated the preparation of different concentrations of spray liquids for Hand operated Sprayer, Knapsac sprayer, Power sprayer, Thiwan sprayer and Direct stem application. Dr. R. Vishwatej, (SMS, Extension) spoke about necessity of using protective clothing while spraying pesticides and herbicides in the field. B. Shiva, SMS(Horticulture) has explained about ICM and IPM practices in Chilli, Tomato & Vegetables. Later all scientists along with farmer participants have participated in method demonstration of ‘stem application in cotton’ at farmers field and distributed neem oil to tribal farmers.
