Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC 2024-25) meeting on 21.02.2024 at Seminar Hall, Bhadradri Kothagudem. Dr. K. Madhu Babu, Professor, EEI, chaired the SAC meeting. Dr. R. Uma Reddy, Associate Director of Research, CTZ, RARS, Warangal welcomed the participants and briefly explained about of the agenda of SAC meeting and suggested to give specific outcome in crisp presentation. The meeting started with opening remarks by the chairman who suggested to propose action plan to cater to the farmer’s needs. Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme coordinator, KVK, Bhadradri, Kothagudem presented the work done report 2023-24 and action taken report 2024-25 pertaining to KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem along with plant protection technical programme. Later scientists of different disciplines viz., Extension, Crop production and horticulture presented their work done report for 2023-2024 and action plan for 2024-25. Sri Babu Rao, DAO, Bhadradri Kothagudem. Sri J. Marianna, DHSO, Bhadradri Kothagudem, line departments Officials of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, 10 No. of progressive farmers from different villages of Bhadradri Kothagudem district have participated in the SAC meeting and gave suggestions for improvement of the action plan. On the same platform, District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) meeting of DAATTC, Warangal was also conducted. Dr. K. Madhu Babu, Professor, EEI has given the concluding remarks and suggestions for improving extension activities of the station.
