KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem scientists visited submerged cotton & Chillies fields at Chittiramavaram, Kothagudem on 26-08-2021

Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme coordinator along with scientists of KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Agricultural Officer has visited submerged cotton, Chilli and vegetable fields at chittiramavaram village, Kothagudem Mandal on 26.08.2021. Dr. V. L. Narayanamma, has advised farmers to drain the excess rainwater from the fields and foliar application of potassium Nitrate to the flood effected cotton crop. Mr. B. Shiva, SMS(Horticulture) has advised chilli and vegetable farmers for foliar application micronutrients and drenching the rootzone with copper oxy chloride @ 2gm/lit to prevent damping off and wilting.
