Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted training programme on Natural Farming practices at Rayapadu Village Gundal Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 17.08.2023. In this training programme Dr. R. Srinivasa Rao, SMS (Crop Production) addressed farming community on different package of practices on natural farming methods, collection of natural resources like neem leaves, pongamia leaves, custard apple leaves etc., and their incorporation in the soil before transplantation of paddy. Preparation of panchagavya with combination of 2kg Soil, 2kg Jaggery, 2kg Dal powder, Desi cow urine and cow dung in a 200Liter of drum, Panchagavya was stirred gently 10min morning and evening for 7-10days then good solution was ready for apprizing and foliar spray on different crops. In this programme DAMU Project Mr. M. Suman (Agromet Observer) has addressed gathering how to get agro advisory services in smart mobile. A total of 60 farmer and farmwomen have participated, interacted with scientist regarding Kharif crop condition, seasonal pest and disease management strategies in different crops.
