KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted Training and Visit (T&V) Workshop at APMC market yard, Laxmidevipally, Bhadradri Kothagudem on 10.12.2020. Sri K. Abhimanyudu, DAO, Bhadradri Kothagudem along with ADAs, MAOs and AEOs in the district, Dr. G.Veeranna, Programme coordinator along with subject Matter specialists Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma (Plant protection), Dr. R. Vishwatej (Extension) and Ms. S. Vindya (Agro Met.) has participated in the Workshop. The ADAs of the all four divisons has presented the crop situation of Vanakalam and Yasangi of their respective divisons, and also presented the crop pest and disease incidences observed in their jurisdiction during the vanakalam. They also informed the participants about the crops and varieties preferred by the farmers during the Yasangi season. Dr. G. Veeranna, has presented about the crops and varieties suitable for the district for yasangi and also explained about the weed management in various crops. He also advised the terminate the cotton crop by January and to promote remunerative crops like Greengram, Blackgram, Sesamum and daincha instead Maize. A total of 81 officials and scientist has participated in the T& V Workshop.
