Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted training programme on “ICT applications in Agriculture and Summer Pulses Production Technologies” to Rural Youth – RAYAPADU FPO members at Rayapadu Village, Allapally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 30.11.2024. Meeting was Inaugural address was delivered by the Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma Programme Coordinator of KVK about the essence of ICTs in agriculture and its timely applications in plant protection measurements in various crops. Dr. S. Naveen Kumar, SMS (Extension) elaborated various ICT tools and techniques to get information and follow up action in agriculture. Later, Dr. R. Srinivasa Rao, SMS (Crop Production) explained about various production technologies of major crops of the district and government supporting scheme in this programme.Mr. P. Papa Rao, Chairman shared his experiences of various production technologies in crops by using ICT applications, then programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by a progressive farmer named Uku Erraiah and others.
