KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted training programme on “Management of newly emerging Pests and diseases in Major crops” for Extension functionaries under Tribal Sub Plan 2020-21 at APMC market yard, Laxmidevipally, Bhadradri Kothagudem on 10-12-2020. Sri. K. Abhimanyudu, DAO, along with ADAs, MAOs and AEOs of Bhadradri Kothagudem has participated in the programme. Dr. G.Veeranna, Programme coordinator has explained the about pest incidence associated with weeds and fertilizers in the field crops. Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, SMS (Plant protection), has explained in detail about the various newly emerging pests and diseases along with their management practices. Ms. S. Vindhya, SMS (Agro met.) has explained about the weather influence on incidence of pest and diseases of major crops. Dr. R. Vishwatej has proposed the vote of thanks to the participants, media of making the training a success. A total of 81 participants attended the training programme.
