Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted training programme on Yasangi paddy management practises at Allapally Village and Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 17.12.2024. Meeting was inaugurated by addressing the precautions to be taken paddy nursery management under severe cold conditions and varieties suitable for Yasangi season 2024-25 at Rythu Vedika, Allapally Mandal. Dr. S. Naveen Kumar, SMS (Extension) explained in detail about paddy nursery management practices to be followed under severe cold conditions and varieties suitable for Yasangi season. Further, he also stressed upon own seed production for paddy crop. Mr. B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture) briefed about vegetable nurseries management under shade net conditions. Mr. B. Thata Rao and MAO, Allapally mandal stressed upon the importance of NFSM scheme and Telangana Sona (RNR - 15084) 15kg/bag certified seed was distributed to the farmers under NFSM scheme. Programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Sri P. Paparao, Chairman, Rayapadu FPO and progressive farmers.
