Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted training programme on pre kharif awareness cum plant protection measures to be taken during kharif season crops at Kanchanapalle Village, Gundala Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem. In this programme KVK, Programme Coordinator Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, spoken about precautions to be taken while sowing the kharif crops like soil testing, seed treatment etc. and pest and disease management in the ensuing kharif crops like paddy, cotton, maize, red gram. She also discussed about their identification and low-cost management practices. Mr B. Shiva, SMS(Horticulture) spoken about precautionary measures about chilli nursery growing and also spoken about cultivation of cucurbitaceous crops on pandal system and about the schemes related to horticulture crops. In this program ITC Programme Manager Shri Jitendra Kumar participated and spoken about schemes related to eucalyptus and other plantation crops. A total of 65 number of farmers and farmwomen of Rayapadu FPO participated and interacted with scientists.
