Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadadri Kothagudem has conducted a training programme on Vermicompost – its preparation and uses at Mandalapalli Village, Dammapeta Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 09.02.2023. In this programme Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme Coordinator, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem, spoke about the uses of vermicompost and explained in details about the process of vermicompost preparation using earthworms. She has encouraged the rural youth to take-up the vermicompost as social enterprise for giving profits and also help the farmers by applying quality produce like vermicompost and earthworms etc. In this programme local representatives and 80 farmers have participated in the training programme.
