Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted Awareness Programme on Value Addition through Millet Processing at Rayapadu Village, Gundala Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 19.10.2022 to 20.10.2022 under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) 2022-23. Dr. R. Vishwatej, SMS (Extension) has explained in detail about importance of millets its nutritional values, growing demand millets-based products, opportunities in millet processing, value chain of different millet products and its value addition. On day two, a practical session on preparation of Ragi ladoos was conducted with the active participation of training. A session on packing and marketing techniques was also taken for the benefit of tribal women. In the programme 45 tribal women were participated.
