Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem celebrated “World Pulse Day” at Narsimhasagar Village, Sujathanagar Mandal on 10-02-2021

KVK, BhadradriKothagudem has celebrated “World Pulse Day” with the theme of Nutritious Seeds for a Sustainable Future under Tribal Sub Plan 2020-21 at Narsimhasagar village, Sujathanagar Mandal on 10.02.2021. Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme coordinator, emphasized the importance of pulses in human health and also briefed about the integrated crop management (ICM) in pulse crops. Dr. R. Srinivas Rao (SMS, Crop Production), spoken about the good agronomical practices in pulse crop and also discussed the varieties in pulse crop developed by the PJTSAU university. Dr. R. Vishwatej, SMS (Extension) talked about the value addition methods in pulse crop. B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture) spoken about the marketing of produce. S. Vindhya (Agromet observer) talked about the necessary precaution in Rabi pulse crop production. In this programme 120 Number of farmers has participated and interacted with the KVK scientists.
