KVK, Malyal organized 5 days Skill Training Programme on “Tailoring” Under SCSP Project from 3rd to 7th January, 2022

A skill training programme on “Tailoring” under SCSP Project was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal for 5 days from 03rd to 07th January, 2022 at Rythuvedhika of Uggampalli village, Chinna Guduru mandal and Mahabubabad district. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator inaugurated the programme on 3rd January and explained about the SCSP project and emphasized on self employment of women. Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) acted as programme in charge. Smt. K. Vani, Entrepreneur, Varshitha Ladies Tailoring and Embroidery works, Chinna Guduru, acted as Resource person and Instructor for 5 days and she has taken theory and practical sessions on Basic techniques in Tailoring, Handling of Stitching machine, Cutting of cloth for Blouse stitching, Threading, Piping and Hand work for blouse stitching, cutting for frock stitching, Stitching of Blouse and Frock, Stitching of Cloth bags and Masks, Basics in Embroidery stitching. 25 no. of SC Women from Vissampalli village (adopted village of KVK, Malyal under SCSP project) attended the training. The participants were keen in learning and also stitched good number of model frocks, blouses, masks, etc during practical classes.Different officials like Smt. Padmaja, MAO, Chinna Guduru; Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extn.), KVK, Malyal; Sri Chathru Nayak, DAO, Mahabubabad; Sri Shobhan babu, ADA, Maripeda divison; Sri Paparao, APM, DRDA; Smt. Beesu Poolamma Mallesham, Village sarpanch; Sri. Ankush, AEO, Chinnaguduru cluster; Smt, Poojitha, ATM, ATMA visited the training venue on different days who had addressed the participants to improve them for self entrepreneurship in training and related activities. In the valedictory session on 7th January, 2022 Dr. Venkat, APD, DRDA and SERP participated as chief guest and addressed the gathering. He introduced about the Schemes and bank loan details which are applicable to rural women for entrepreneurship development programmes. Participation certificates were distributed to the trainees.
