KVK, Malyal organized digital audio conference through virtual mode on “Awareness on DAMU Project and Activities” on 02-11-2021
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized digital audio conference on “Awareness on DAMU Project and Activities” through virtual mode in collaboration with Reliance Foundation on 02-11-2021. In this programme, Dr. S. Malathi, Programme coordinator, KVK, Malyal explained the farmers the ways and means to utilize weather apps to plan day to day agriculture activities. Smt. D. Usha Sri, SMS (Agrometeorology) briefed about the “Megdooth, Mausam, Damini” apps, their utility and explained how to download and register the apps in their mobiles. She requested all the participants to pass the information about the weather apps to other farmers in their villages and should play role in motivating them to utilizing these apps. Later, the Programme Coordinator answered the queries raised by farmers especially for Chilli crop. Smt. Ch. Varahalu, Project Manager from Reliance Foundation coordinated the programme and 55 farmers from Bayyaram, Dornakal and Narsimhulapeta Mandals of Mahabubabad district participated in this programme.
