Pre-Kharif Awareness Programme on Good management Practices in different crops”was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal on 14-06-2022 at Rythuvedhika of Boddugonda village of Gudur mandal. Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) explained about integrated pest management practices like installation of yellow sticky traps, pheromone traps, border crop, usage of Trichoderma and Pseudomonas, PSB application etc and Nursery management of Paddy and Chilli. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar SMS (Extension) explained about Seed availability of Paddy, Redgram, Green gram and subscription of university website, you tube channel for different crop management practices and new technologies. Sri.G. Rakesh, Mandal Agriculture officer, Gudur explained about Department subsidies, PM Kisan, EKYC etc. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator explained about the High density planting system in Cotton, Direct seeding in Paddy and emphasized on Importance of Green manure, Seed treatment and crop Residue Management. Later, the experts answered to the queries raised by the farmers about the Kharif preparedness activities. Sri B. Chander AEO, Boddugonda cluster and 44 number of farmers participated in the programme.
