KVK, Malyal organized Baseline survey and Awareness Programme on Kharif Crops in newly adopted village on 15-06-2021

KVK, Malyal has adopted Boddugondavillage in Gudurumandal of Mahabubabad district. KVK, Scientists interacted with farmers and collected the data of village profile. Smt. A. Ramulamma SMS (Plant Protection) explainedabout OFTs and FLDs and identified the farmers to conduct of KVK trials. Suggested to the farmers about installation of pheromone traps and sticky traps, importance of seed treatment. B. Kranthi Kumar SMS (Crop Production) explained about the benefits of Direct seeding methods in Rice cultivation, and explained about weed management and also suggested importance andusage of Phosphorus solubilizing bacteria in Paddy fields. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) suggested to the farmers select good hybrids in chilli crop and install yellow sticky traps.
