Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal, Mahabubabad organized “Training Programme on Better Management Practices in Kharif Crops to AEOs under Sc Sub Plan Project” on 31-07-2021

Training Programme on Better Management Practices in Kharif Crops under SC Sub Plan Project, 2021-22 was organized at KVK, Malyal in Mahabubabad district on 31-07-2021to AEOs of Maripeda divison, Mahabubabad District. In this programme, Sri Chathru Nayak DAO, Mahabubabad participated as chief guest and addressed the AEOs. He instructed them to upgrade the technical information to equip themselves for successful transfer of technology. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal, highlighted the importance of direct seeding of paddy, adoption of cost effective pest management options like seed treatment, use of sticky traps, stem application technology for reducing cost of cultivation & reaping higher net returns, for this AEOs should play role in bringing out such changes. Sri B. Kranthi Kumar SMS (Crop Production) explained about the fertilizer management and weed management of paddy, cotton and pulse crops. Smt A. Ramulamma SMS (Plant Protection) explained about integrated pest and disease management in paddy and chilli. Dr. E. Rambabu SMS (Horticulture) explained about turmeric crop management. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar SMS (Extension) explained about usage of ICT tools in agriculture. Sri Shobhan babu, ADA, Maripeda, Sri Kumar Yadav MAO, Thorrur, Sri Veera singh MAO, Maripeda and 38 no.of AEOs from Maripeda divison participated in the programme.
