KVK, Malyal – Distributed Shade net and Mulching rolls under Tribal Sub Plan from 23rd to 24th January, 2024

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal distributed 60 units of Shade net to 30 beneficiaries (2 No./ each) and 100 Mulching rolls to 50 beneficiaries (2 No./ each) from 2-TSP adopted villages (i.e., Bheemla thanda of Narsimhulapeta Mandal and Balya thanda, of Kuravi Mandal) from 23rd to 24th January, 2024. During the programme, Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator addressed the gathering and requested the participants to utilize shade nets for growing of vegetables during summer season as well as raising of vegetables seedlings at village level and Mulching rolls for growing of Chilli crop. Sri. K. Suryanarayana, DHSO, Mahabubabad participated as Chief Guest for the programme and suggested to utilize this opportunity for growing vegetables to realize better yields and net returns. KVK, Malyal staff Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Hort.) Sri B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production.) and 80 tribal farmer beneficiaries participated in the programme.
