KVK, Malyal – Conducted Exposure Visit to CoE, Mulugu, Siddipet District on 11-12-2023

Exposure visit was conducted by KVK, Malyal to Centre of Excellence, Mulugu, Siddipet District on 11-12-2023 with 30 beneficiaries from 3 SCSP adopted villages (Vissampalli of China Gudur, Kantayapalem, Nanchari maduru of Thorrur Mandal). Sri Surendranath Horticulture Officer from Centre of Excellence, Mulugu acted as resource person, morning session he explained objectives, different demo units maintained at CoE,mulugu and farmers success stories in horticultural crops, In the afternoon session field visit to different demo units maintained at CoE like Ultra High Density Mango, Guava, Pomegranate, Sweet Orange, Acid Lime, Dragon Fruit, intercropping of Srigandham with Casuarina plantation, farm pond and raising of vegetable nurseries (Chilli, Brinjal, Onion and Tomato) under shadenet and raising of vegetable nurseries in plug trays under shadenet were shown to the participants. KVK, Malyal Scientist Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension) and Sri J. Sai kiran, (Young Professional-II) ICAR-CICR Cotton Project accompanied the farmers during the exposure visit.
