Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized Farmers Training Programme on “ Importance of Seed treatment in Different Crops on 30-06-2021

Farmers Training Programme on “Importance of seed treatment in different crops” was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal at Chillagunta thanda of Boddugonda village, Gudur Mandal in Mahabubabad district on 30-06-2021. Smt. A. Ramulamma SMS (Plant Protection) explained about importance of seed treatment, different methods of seed treatment and methodology of seed treatment for field crops. Sri. B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production) explained about how to treat the seed with Rhizobium culture and given awareness about direct seeding in rice, usage of PSB in rice. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar SMS(Extension) explained about different KVK activities and usage of mobile apps related with farming Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal, explained about the precautions to be taken while treating the seed. suggested crop rotation and usage of Trichoderma for wilt management in Red gram and Chilli crops and interacted with farmers. In this programme KVK Scientists, Sri. B. Redya, AEO of Boddugonda and 32 no. of farmers participated.
