KVK – MALYAL Training Programme on “Integrated farming approaches for doubling farm income” under UNNATI (MGNREGS) by KVK, Malyal from 27.01.2023 to 02.02.2023

Week long training programme on “Integrated farming approaches for doubling farm income” under agriculture and allied sectors theme was conducted by KVK, Malyal in collaboration with DRDA-EGMM, Mahabubabad District from 27.01.2023 to 02.02.2023 at Rythuvedika, Kesamudram. The programme started with inaugural session on 27.01.2023 wherein mandate activities of KVK and the objectives of the training programme in the current agriculture scenario were highlighted by the Programme Coordinator. During the programme, lectures on vermicompost usage, preparation and entrepreneurship, role of ICT’s in agriculture to enhance income, weather advisories for timely decision making in farm operations, integrated management practices in Chillies, integrated farming approaches for enhancing production and productivity were taken by KVK staff. DRDA staff arranged lectures on dairy and poultry. During this programme, Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture), Sri. B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production), Smt. D. Usha Sree, SMS (Agrometeorology) from KVK, Malyal and Dr. S. Venkat, ADRDO-DRDA, Smt. V. Nalininarayana, DPM-SERP, Sri. Rajeev, APM, Sri Madhusudhan, RM, Sri G. Ganesh, Placement Coordinator from DRDA, Mahabubabad acted as resource persons. 61 number of participants from Kesamudram Mandal attended in this programme.
