Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized Farmers Training Programme on “Integrated Nutrient management in Paddy” on 05-08-2021

Farmers Training Programme on “Integrated Nutrient management in paddy” was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal with collaboration with Coromandel Int. Pvt. Ltd. at Boddugonda village of Gudur Mandal in Mahabubabad district on 05-08-2021. Sri B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production) explained about Integrated Nutrient management in paddy through powerpoint presentation. Importance of green manure crops, use of biofertilizers and judicial application of fertilizers were highlighted. Smt. A. Ramulamma SMS (Plant Protection) explained about the pest management measures to be taken in paddy, cotton and chilli in current situation. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal, addressed the gathering reiterated the take home points like basal application of potassium, initial care for pest management in different crops. Sri Chathru Naik DAO, Mahabubabad participated as chief guest and addressed the gathering, he explained about departmental schemes and emphasized on DDSR cultivation in Rice. In this programme Sri M. Laxminarayana, ADA, Mahabubabad divison, Sri K. Madhusudhan, Senior Agronomist, Coromandel Int. Pvt. Ltd, Sri B. Thirumal Rao, Assistant manager, Coromandel Int. Pvt. Ltd, Sri S. Ravi Babu, Senior officer, Coromandel Int. Pvt. Ltd, Sri Venkanna, Village Sarpanch, Kollhapur, Sri Ravi Village Sarpanch, Errakuntathanda, Sri, Laxminarsu, Village coordinator, Boddugonda , Sri B. Redya, AEO of Boddugonda and 110 no.of farmers participated in the programme.
