KVK, Malyal – organized International Women’s Day at Chakruthanda village of Gudur Mandal under TSP, 2022-23 on 08-03-2023

KVK, Malyal has organized “International Women’s Day” under Tribal Sub Plan, 2022-23 at Chakruthanda, Gudur Mandal on 08-03-2023. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture), Co-PI of this project created awareness on the importance of the day, need for women empowerment and importance of education, which plays an important role in women’s success. On this occasion, musical chairs game was conducted and the winners were awarded with prizes and also felicitated 2 women farmers – Bhukya Eeri and Banoth Kanthi from Chakru thanda village of Gudur Mandal for their contribution towards farming by judicious usage of inputs and better IPM practices in Chilli crop. Sri M. Chittibabu, Agromet Observer, Smt K. Nishad, Panchayath Secretary, Sri Venkanna, MPW, Panchayathraj Department, Smt. Banoth Manga, Sarpanch, Sri Banoth Limba Naik, Upasarpnch, Chakruthanda and 45 no. of women farmers participated in the celebrations.
