Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized online training programme on “Management of vegetable nursery” through a digital audio conference on 24-09-2021

Online Training Programme on “Management of vegetable nursery” was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal on 24-09-2021 through digital audio conference in collaboration with Reliance Foundation. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Hort.) explained about initial management practices in vegetable crops like Tomato, Brinjal, Green Chilli, Bhendi, Cluster bean, Onion, Carrot, Beetroot and Cucurbits. He explained about nursery management practices in different vegetable crops, tips like raised bed nursery, growing nursery in portrays, nursery protection measures were dealt with.Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator explained about need crop diversification through horticultural crops in the ensuing Yasangi 2021-22 in place of Paddy.Later, the experts answered the queries raised by the farmers in the standing crops during current situation.In this programme, Smt. Ch. Varahalu, Project Manager from Reliance Foundation coordinated the programme and 35 number of farmers from Warangal (Rural) and Mahabubabad districts participated in the programme.
