KVK, Malyal Training Programme on “Natural Farming” under SC SP Project , 2022-23: on 29-03-2023

Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), Explained about need and importance of natural farming. Sri B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production) explained about, different Natural farming inputs and tyheir role in improvement of soil health. He emphasized on cultivation of green manure crops before Paddy, Chilli; application of FYM, Vermicompost, Neem cake, Groundnut cake to enrich soil health instead of using complex chemical fertilizers and explained scope and importance of Millets cultivation under natural farming.Sri Mangapathi Rao, Natural Farming practicing Farmer, explained the concept of natural farming, explained usage of cow based agro inputs, preparation of different natural farming products for pest and disease control in paddy crop. Later, distributed Vyavasaya Panchangam Books (14 Nos) to SC SP Project beneficiaries in the village and 35 number of farmers participated in the programme.
