KVK, Malyal Scientists participated in farmer’s awareness programme on “Pest and disease management in Paddy” conducted by ATMA, Mahabubabad at Chinna Mupparam on 28-09-2020

Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, Programme Coordinator and Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection), KVK, Mayal participated as resource person in the farmer’s awareness programme on “Pest and disease management in Paddy” conducted by ATMA, Mahabubabad at Chinna Mupparam on 28-09-2020. During the programme, Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection), Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal given lecture on “BPH management, management practices for panicle mite, false smut and white ear (stem borer) at the stage of panicle initiation in Rice”. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, Programme Coordinator explained about “different suitable varieties for Yasangi season and different ICT tools useful for pest & disease control” The programme attended by 35 number of farmers, farmwomen and public representatives of Chinna Mupparam village of Nellikudur Mandal.
