KVK, Malyal organized and attended the decenial celebrations of Telangana Formation Day from 01-06-2023 to 03-06-2023.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized and attended the decenial celebrations of Telangana Formation Day from 1st to 3rd June 2023. As a part of these celebrations, KVK office building was illuminated with serial lights from 01-06-2023 to 03-06-2023. To mark the auspicious occasion, the office was decorated with mango leaves’ tornalu, marigold flowers and colorful rangolis. Banners depicting decennial celebrations of Telangana formation were displayed in front of KVK, Malyal. 2nd day started with unfurling of National Flag by the Programme coordinator, followed by playing National Anthem, Telangana Song, University song and floral tributes. The programme coordinator, Dr. S. Malathi appraised the gathering about the developments made in Telangana agriculture, in general and by the university, in particular during the past 9 years. Contributions made by KVK were also accoladed. Contributions and sacrifices made to conceptualize and realization of Telangana Formation were memorized on this occasion by the PC and other staff. Later, cultural activities like singing Telangana folk songs, folk dances, arranging games for KVK staff and timescale workers followed by prize distribution and community lunch were organized in a befitting manner. In this programme, staff of KVK, Malyal; HRS, Malyal; and timescale workers, few villagers participated. On 3rd day, the Programme Coordinator and Scientists attended the “Rythu Dinotsavam” programmes in different cluster level Rythu Vedikas of Mahabubabad District. Dr. S. Malathi, PC, KVK, Malyal attended at Bodhugonda where Smt. Satyavathi Rathod Garu Hon’ble Minister for Women & Child welfare acted as chief guest, Mahabubabad where Sri. Takkallapelly Ravinder Rao Garu, MLC acted as chief guest, Nerada where Smt. Maloth Kavitha Garu, MP, Mahabubabad acted as chief guest, Neelikurthy where Sri. Macha Srinivas Garu, HACA Chairman acted as chief guest. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extn) conducted “Rythu Dinotsavam” programme at KVK, Malyal and attended in Kuravi Rythu vedika. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) attended at Narsimhulapet where Sri. Dharmasoth Redya Naik, Ex-MLA Mahabubabad acted as chief guest and Sri. B. Kranthi Kumar attended Bodhugonda, Gudur, Kesamudram where Sri. Banoth Redya Naik, MLA Mahabubabad acted as chief guest In all above programmes KVK Staff addressed the gathering on Developments of PJTSAU during last 9 years, Awareness on importance of timely paddy sowings to facilitate timely yasangi season, Importance of green manure crops before paddy, chilli , Soil health management and Subscription of PJTSAU Youtube channel A Total of 7,258 participants including Chief guests, Department of Agriculture & Horticulture officials (DAO, DHSO, AO,s, AEO,s) and public representative have participated in the programme at the above places.
