KVK, Malyal organized 5 days Skill Training Programme on “Jute Bag Making” from 10th to 14th September, 2024 at Rythuvedika, Bodugonda under DAPSC project (SC SP), 2024-25. The training started with inaugural session on 10-09-2024 and Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension.) & Co-PI of DAPSC Project explained about the objectives of this project. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, emphasized on take up self employment in agriculture and allied sectors for women economic empowerment. Smt S. Radhika, Entrepreneur and expert in Jute bag making, Kesamudram, acted as resource person for the training, She has taken theory and practical sessions on 10th 11th 12th and 13th (Forenoon) on introduction about different jute products, Pattern and design for different types of jute bags & files, marketing strategies for Jute products and practical’s on jute bag making and files making on 13-09-2024. Sri B.Veeranna, Secretary, DKW society explained about different government schemes for women SHG for Enterenure ship development. On 14th September, 2024 women were taken on exposure visit to Radhika Jute Bag creations, Kesamudram, Mahabubabad district where Smt G. Radhika shared and practical’s on jute bag and files preparation. In this 5 days skill training programme, Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK Malyal, Sri G. Venkanna, MPTC, Kolhapur, Mahabubabad and 31 SC women from Kolhapuam, Bodugonda and Kambalapalli villages attended.
