KVK, Malyal organized 3 days Skill Training Programme on “Tailoring & Embroidery” under TSP, 2021-22 from 5th to 7th January, 2022

KVK, Malyal organized 3 days Skill Training Programme on “Tailoring & Embroidery” from 5th to 7th January, 2022 at Rythu Vedika, Mahabubabad under Tribal Sub Plan, 2020-21. The training started with inaugural session on 05-01-2022 and Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator inaugurated the programme on 5th January and explained about the Tribal Sub Plan project, requested the participants to utilize this opportunity as much as possible and emphasized on self employment of women, suggested the women farmers to take up tailoring as a means to meet their family needs and also to start entrepreneurship. Smt. Ande Sridevi, Jayasri Botique, Maggam Works, Embroidery works & Fashion designer Mahabubabad, acted as resource person for the training. She has taken theory and practical sessions on blouse stitching, dress stitching, frocks for kids, basic tips in embroiding and maggam work design. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extn.), Sri B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (C.P.), KVK, Malyal, Sri Tirupathi Reddy, MAO, Mahabubabad 25 no. of ST women from 8 TSP adopted villages of KVK, Malyal attended the training. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) acted as Programme In-charge and Sri B. Chatru Naik, DAO, Mahabubabad participated as Chief Guest for the valedictory session and addressed the gathering. Later, 'participation certificates' were distributed to the trainees.
