Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized Special Swachhta Campaign 2.0 from 2nd to 31st October, 2022. In this campaign, awareness activities on Swachhta, Crop residue and vermicompost management were conducted in different KVK, Malyal adopted villages, other villages, Schools, Colleges, Hospitals and Other Government offices in Mahabubabad District, selecting one location each day. At KVK also, Swachhta activities like cleaning office, office premises, field sanitation in KVK instructional farm, sanitation activities in staff quarters were taken up. During this period, other department officials (DHSO, PHC Medical Officer, MRO, AMC Supervisor, TS-RTC STI, RI13) have also contributed occasionally for Swachhta programme through clean and green programmes and for propagating/spreading the swacchata message to the staff and public. Each day, the campaign started with swachhta pledge. In total, during this period, 24 awareness and cleaning programmes on swacchata and 6 awareness programmes on crop residue and vermicompost managment towards Swachhta activities, were conducted by KVK, Malyal. During these programmes a total of 380 school children, 100 college students, 722 farmers, 40 asha workers, 35 anganwadi workers, 12 staff members of KVK, Malyal and 20 other department officials participated.
