KVK, Malyal – Organized Training Programme on “Better management practices in Chilli” at Rythu Vedika, Komatipalli of Kesamudram Mandal on 14-10-2022

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized training programme on “Better management practices in Chilli” at Rythu Vedika, Komatipalli of Kesamudram Mandal on 14-10-2022. Dr. E. Rambabu SMS (Horticulture) explained about better management practices in Chilli which includes fertilizer management, correction of micronutrient deficiencies, integrated management practices for virus control. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator explained about pest and disease management in Chilli especially emphasized on precautionary measures to be taken for the control of flower thrips. Especially eco-friendly methods like use of sticky traps, use of neem oil, etc. She also clarified the queries raised by the farmers on current standing crops of Cotton, Paddy and Turmeric. In this programme, Sri B. Venkanna, MAO, Kesamudram, Sri. K. Ravi Verma, AEO, Komatipalli cluster, Sri M. Chitti Babu, Agromet Observer, DAMU, KVK, Malyal, Sri R. Swamy, MPTC, Sri. N. Yakaiah, Sarpanch, Sri. N. Bhadru Naik, Village Coordinator of Komatipalli, Smt. S. Saramma, Sarpanch, Mahbubpatnam, Sri S. Shankar, Sarpanch, Tarasingh thanda, Sri V. Tarasingh, Sarpanch, Bhukyaram thanda and 52 no.of farmers participated.
